After being processed and booked into the system it is then determined where an inmate is placed in the jail.  Their charges and classification are just two factors in their placement.
The section of the jail known as A-side has
the most secured cells.  There are 8 cells.
The four outer cells have 6 two man cells. The inner 4 cells have 3 two man cells. All cells are locked  at 11:00pm.  The 4 inner cells are also secured by another door that has to open before the inmate can come to an area where a sliding door has to be opened before reaching the pod area.
A-side also has three observation cells.  These cells hold one inmate per cell and stay locked at all times.  These cells are also secured by another door that has to open before having access to the jail.
The kitchen is located off of the A side hall.  Female state inmates are chosen to work in the kitchen and are supervised by CBM Food Service employees who are contracted to oversee the dietary needs at the jail.
